The AWON Group is officially established in the second half 2005, but her activities are originating already from 2004. The owners of the AWON Group, a mix of Dutch-Chinese business partners and private friends, were all leading their own companies before that. After they met each other for the first time during a business trip to China in 2004, they kept in contact frequently. During following meetings after this trip they developed a business plan in which they shared their business and personal values, visions and goals.

Their believes, knowledge, practical experiences, networks and enthusiasm are nowadays combined into a division-organized group from which they’re providing a excellent service package, surrounded by an broad international network towards their existing and new clients.

One of the strengths of the AWON-group is, as mentioned before, the multi-cultural background of the owners. For this reason the AWON-group is well equipped to meet the expectations of and bridge the differences between Chinese, European and American companies and governmental bodies. The AWON Group herself proved that integrating Asian-, European- and American-orientated experiences and ideas can be as well as successful as enjoyable.

The AWON Group has ideals too and is therefore taking responsibility for her social environment also. At least 10% percent of Awons’ yearly profit is given back to the Chinese community by financing and starting projects which are stimulating the underprivileged to develop themselves further by enabling them to follow studies on high schools or universities, to learn new skills on technical schools or to fulfil internships abroad.

The slogan ‘BRIDGING DIFFERENCES!’, as you will understand now, is based on our drive and role to give our clients insight in the cultural differences between two or more foreign organizations, taking away the barriers these cause and enabling both parties to do business with each other in a way that exceeds their expectations.
